CRESCENDO programme aims at enlarging the networks with Associated Countries, analysing the evolution of threats and risk assessment, policies and regulations, innovation process, defining R&D roadmaps and providing recommendations for future programmes. |

CRESCENDO will build on the experience gained on PASR 2004 and 2006 projects (SeNTRE and STACCATO) and particularly on the users and experts networks constituted along these two projects.
SeNTRE had the objective to identify the capability needs in 10 missions and determine technological capabilities meeting the requirements with a top-down approach from the Consortium and a bottom-up approach through the organised workshops.
STACCATO aimed at enlarging the network created by SeNTRE to the new Member States of the European Union and enlarging the objectives taking into account the supply chain and the market conditions.
CRESCENDO will take benefits of the two funded Coordination actions enlarging the network to Associated Countries, analysing the evolution of threats and risks assessment, the policies and regulations, the innovation process, defining R&D roadmaps and providing recommendations for future programmes. |

Crescendo Work Package 2 had the mission to organise local workshops in new Member State countries & Associated Countries. The selected countries, Israel, Estonia, Czeck Republic & Poland have friendly and professionally hosted these fruitful workshops where main personalities for security issues were invited.
These local workshop based on "National Security Assessment" will bring research recommendation for the European Commission, transmitted by Crescendo consortium.

Cresendo Consoritum is holding nine thematical workshops in Brussels within the 23rd of March and the 14th of April.
Industry, SMEs Think Tanks, Research and Technology Organizations (RTOs), Academia and End Users are invited to participate in this process on the basis of their fields of competence.

Ø CBRNE, Standardization & Interoperability, the three thematic workshops have been held with success in Borschette building last week.
Ø In total, fifty four (54) persons, that travelled their way long from United Kingdom, Sweden, The Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Poland, Luxembourg, Belgium and France actively participated to the discussion around the 3 topics. Raising political and technological issues and sharing their point of view for Security research progress.
